I am working on building a THINK C 4.0 library based on some Unix code that uses malloc() for memory allocation. I plan to allow the programmer to provide a different memory allocation routine, but was planning to use malloc() in the default allocation routine. Is there a problem with using malloc() by default? That is, is the programmer likely to run into problems if s/he doesn't redefine the memory allocation routine if they aren't otherwise using the ANSI libraries? -- David Elliott dce@smsc.sony.com | ...!{uunet,mips}!sonyusa!dce (408)944-4073 "...it becomes natural, like a third sense." -- Homer Simpson
