[comp.sys.mac.programmer] Finding file size and memory size

Two simple questions:

1.  How can I get the size of the file, given the file number ?

2.  When user starts my application, I need to know what value
    s/he has put in the Application Memory Size (in Get Info dialog).
	How can I do this ?
