We are looking for a software package that will allow our Macs to communicate with our VAX via a thin Ethernet network. The PC's use DecNET and I am currently using TSSNET. It works well enough, but there are no utilities for virtual disks or, more importantly, transferring entire directories of files automatically. I had heard that NCSA Telnet may be (or have?) such a product. I'm not sure if this is a product name or a company name. Anyway, if this is a product and you know about, please tell me about its major features and who makes it. If it is a company, please tell me how to contact them. If you work for this company, please call me at 612-251-5535. Thanks.

There are also a couple of commercial companies who provide similar functions. TCP/Connect II from InterCon Systems Corporation 703.709.9890 HostAccess from Novell 415.947.0998 Ungermann Bass has something I think, but I haven't really seen any announcements Umm, there are also a couple of PD versions of this kind of software around as well. Stanford, CMU, Brown, etc...--
