[comp.sys.mac.programmer] New MENU & BNDL Editor for ResEdit

mxmora@unix.SRI.COM (Matt Mora) (03/24/90)

I downloaded off Applelink a new Menu and Bndl editor
for resedit 1.2. The menu editor is has more features
than resmenu. The bundle editor seems real nice.
If you would like a copy e-mail me and I'll send it
right away. I tried it on my SE at home and my Mac II
at work.

Below is the text from the read me file:

                                 MENUrez
                             (MENU & BNDLs)
Here are resources to paste into ResEdit 1.2 that will give you a nice menu
editor (ala RresMENUS) _and_ a nice BNDL editor. Paste the whole package into
ResEdit. If it's a fresh copy, i.e., hasn't had other resources pasted in, then
you shouldn't have any ID conflicts.

The original package came with no documentation of any kind. However, I think
the TMPLs may be the same ones, by the same person who gave us ResMenu -
usually posted as ResMenu.sit on online services such as Compuserve, GEnie,
CONNECT (MacNet) and the rest.

Enjoy. If you have problems, you can link me at UG0313 and include my name in
the memo title. (I open those right away). I don't know if I'll be of any help
at all, but the person who definitely would, of course, is Tom.Chavez (ResEdit
and MacsBug product mgr.)

I don't think these have been written by the same person.
in the menu window it say Programmed by ALF.

Can't post the file ts about 33k in sit format. Haven't bin hexed
it yet so I don't know its full size.
