[comp.sys.mac.programmer] How much space does AUX take up?

pff@beach.cis.ufl.edu (Pablo Fernicola) (03/23/90)

Besides how much space it takes, what would be the minimum hard disk
size recommended for doing development.

I would also wellcome any feedback on doing X windows development using the
Mac.

Thanks!
Pablo

at an Apple-presented talk last week, the presenter said that it
pretty much fills an 80-Mbyte disk (but 14 Mbyte of that is swapfile).
All of the usual Unix-like sources are there, too, so a run-time
environment could be smaller.
Throwing the usual arm-waves limiting my direct personal knowlege
of the product, i'd say that you could squeek by in a development
mode at 50 Megabytes, but you (nor it) wouldn't be happy.
