Besides how much space it takes, what would be the minimum hard disk size recommended for doing development. I would also wellcome any feedback on doing X windows development using the Mac. Thanks! at an Apple-presented talk last week, the presenter said that it pretty much fills an 80-Mbyte disk (but 14 Mbyte of that is swapfile). All of the usual Unix-like sources are there, too, so a run-time environment could be smaller. Throwing the usual arm-waves limiting my direct personal knowlege of the product, i'd say that you could squeek by in a development mode at 50 Megabytes, but you (nor it) wouldn't be happy. --dick
