Has anyone in net-land heard anything new about Peanut?

Last I heard the target date is mid-october but the WSJ seems
skeptical that IBM will meet that deadline.

Also in the WSJ, some rumors had the Peanut with 64K and no printer
for about $700--that doesn't sound like a very innovative product for
all the pre-production hype it has been getting.

Perhaps IBM plans to sell the Peanut on name alone.

Isn't that just what they did with the PC?

When the PC's hit the store, they also had sitting right next to it
at the local computer land every piece of techinal documentation on it.
