An article on the financial page of the NJ Star Ledger (10/13) quotes TI spokesmen as saying that TI never intended to announce its 99/8 computer; that it was only outside rumors that mentioned it. The article states that it will *not* be released this year (if ever). The rumors referred to indicated that the 99/8, a follow-on to the 99/4a, would have 80K of memory and built-in extended BASIC among other things. Pete LaMaster BTL NJ (201)949-0040 (a 99/4a owner)
