First, I'd like to say "thanks" to everyone who answers all of the questions in this newsgroup, and puts up with neophytes like myself! I'm working on my FIRST program for the Mac (which will be sharware :-), and I need to be able to generate two (2) sine-wave tones simultaneously for anywhere between 0 (obviously no sound) and about 3.5 seconds. [No, this is not a DTMF autodialer or something - but sample code from one would be nice!] I've read Inside Mac Volume V on the Sound Manager, but I can't get my program to make _any_ sound. So now I'm at the point where (a) I'm looking for sug- gestions, if using the Sound Manager and calls to the Note Synthesizer with SndDoCommand is not a good idea, and (b) sample code, preferably for Think C 4.0, which uses the Sound Manager to generate simple tones. Any info would be GREATLY appreciated. (I checked apple.com, but couldn't find anything, except for some really nice docs for the Sound Manager in Word format :-) aTdHvAaNnKcSe, Eddy J.
