While we are on the subject, I may have found a bug in CopyBits when copying to the same pixmap where the destination rectangle is offset by a single pixel. The offset direction was crucial - all 9 directions worked except one. I forget which direction that was, but I think it was "left". Maybe this will help someone. dan
