fidonet. The gentleman stated that he was having screen updating problems in SuperCard when he tried to play a MacroMind Movie in a SuperCard window. Well the bad news is that you have discovered one of the many bugs in SuperCard. A co-worker and I have done extensive development in SUperCard and have managed to max out the software's capabilities. We have heard through the grapevine (some one in CA) that by inserting the line "get the heapSpace" before you open (or start) the MM Director Movie--or any other external PICT--a much fast screen update can be achived. After some dinking around. I have discovered that this line of code greatly enhanced SuperCard 's stability when dealing with externally created Pictures. Rich Casale (V131JTVH@UBVMS)
