I seem to recall someone asking recently whether there was a way to prevent MultiFinder from making a major context switch, other than having a dBoxProc window as your frontmost window. (Can't swear I saw the question on this newsgroup, though.) I just accidentally discovered that, in fact, MultiFinder will not switch whenever the front window has a variation code of 1, whatever the WDEF. For instance an rDocProc + 1 window prevents a switch. -- Jim Walker jwwalker@usceast.cs.scarolina.edu 76367.2271@compuserve.com
