I've spent about a day trying existing XCMDS and writing my own and have definite problems with FoxBASE+/Mac. It seems to have a problem with string variables or expressions as parameters. I wrote a couple of variants of the "Flash" example and FoxBASE is quite happy if it just passes numeric parameters. However, when passing string parameters the XCMD executes but FoxBASE then crashes on return. I'm using Multi-user FoxBASE version 2.00 under System 6.04, with and without a variety of INITS. Has anyone else experienced problems like this, or tried using such XCMDS with FoxBASE? Andy Dent A.D.
