[comp.sys.mac.programmer] Need help with odd address error

jwwalden@miavx1.acs.muohio.edu (James Walden) (06/16/90)

Does anyone have any suggestions on getting rid of an Odd Address error?
I am using an 8 megabyte Macintosh II with Think C 4.0. The error occurs after
I have opened a new window using GetNewCWindow, usually on the third time
through the event loop (idle times through with no events).

All of my global data structures are an even number of bytes long, and the
error doesn't seem to be specific to a single data structure. I would think
that Think C would align everything for me anyway, but everything is an even
number of bytes long so it shouldn't matter.

Any general ideas on debugging this type of error would be appreciated
and I can provide some code and declarations if necessary (typed in by hand
unfortunately since the Mac won't be connected directly in until July).
