To MNEERAC@INF.ETHZ.CL I cannot access your node, our mail server replies unknown node. Re: 'Re: Data Fork' Sorry to be ambigous, what I was looking for was how to use the data fork of the application which I am developing. I see from one reply that PBGetFCB... is used, but how is data parsed and such? If it is all wihtin IM I can get hold of a set. Thanks... Michael WOLF@MEL.CIPL.UIOWA.EDU

Programming the Mac is nearly impossible without it, IMHO. As for parsing the data, that's your problem (read: opportunity). You can put anything into the data fork that you like, in any format you please. Only the resource fork has an enforced format. ========================================================================== Rick Holzgrafe | {sun, voder, nsc, mtxinu, dual}!apple!rmh Software Engineer | AppleLink HOLZGRAFE1 rmh@apple.com Apple Computer, Inc. | "All opinions expressed are mine, and do 20525 Mariani Ave. MS: 77-A | not necessarily represent those of my Cupertino, CA 95014 | employer, Apple Computer Inc."
