Miracles do happen. Apple is letting us MPW 2.0.2 users who have not updated to 3.0, update to 3.1 without having to purchase the whole product again! On page 9 of the "Developer Tools Express" mailer explains the new customer services Apple is providing. Thank you Apple and to whoever else that made this possible. (the net with all its complaining and the DTS staff for listening) The pascal bundle (the one I'm getting) is $190 and includes the assembler. You have to specify that it is an update from 2.0.2 so that they will give you the correct update. (i.e. include the new documentation) Again, Thank you Apple! P.S. Not that I'm going to stop using the THINK (symantec) products, but until THINK Pascal includes in line assembly. I still need a good assembler. :-) Maybe now I can try MacApp 2.0 -- ___________________________________________________________ Matthew Mora | my Mac Matt_Mora@sri.com SRI International | my unix mxmora@unix.sri.com ___________________________________________________________

The original poster's experience and reaction is not isolated; I got a wonderful discount on upgrading from the MPW 2.0.2 C bundle to the MPW 3.1 C / Object Pascal bundle. Many kharma points to whoever. (Now, if somebody would just send me my April Tech Notes ...) -- Jay Freeman <canonical disclaimer -- I speak only for myself>
