[comp.sys.mac.programmer] ARC,LZH,ZOO file creation on a MAC

jwhite@dtoa3.dt.navy.mil (White) (08/02/90)

Hello;
     I am looking for a program that will create a compressed archive
file in one of the following flavors: .ARC, .LZH, or .ZOO. It should
create a file that can be undone on an IBM-PC machine, I can take care
of it on that end. I currently use Stuffit on the Mac and Unsit on
the PC, but the Unsit program is very limited. By that I mean that
It will tell me the Macintosh name of the file and ask me for a name
to extract it to, an if I want to extract the resource fork or not.
This is probally the most generic way considering the incompatable file
name limitations between the two machines, but in my case the file is
named such that it is a valid name on the PC. Any help with this would
be appreicated.
						Thanks in advance
