[comp.sys.mac.programmer] MacApp survey/questionnaire

robiner@oberon.usc.edu (Peter) (08/03/90)

I am posting the questionnaire below on behalf of Tom Chavez, the
Project Manager for MacApp. If you are using MacApp for development, or
have seriously evaluated MacApp 2.0 and decided against using it for
development, please fill out the questionnaire an *EMAIL* it to Tom at
tomc@apple.com

Tom does not read this newsgroup, so *do not post* your replies.
I am not an Apple Employee, so don't send me any mail either.

========================================================================

To all users of MacApp:
(Apple employees please respond, too)

I am once again collecting information on who is using MacApp and for
what it is being used. I think IUll send this out every three months to
stay up with the latest developments. Especially now that 2.0 is out, I
hope to hear that you are all using it!

Please fill out the following questionnaire and link it back to me. The
information provided is considered confidential except where you or your
company allow the release of this information. Please let me know if I
CAN talk about your product, as thatUs good for both MacApp and your
product.

I canUt tell you how helpful information like this is in getting more
resources (engineering, writing, etc), getting press coverage, showing
success stories, convincing new customers to develop on MacApp, etc.
And it can even sell your products, too.

Please keep me informed of your progress and let me know if we can work
together on any parts.

Thank you,
Tom Chavez
MacApp Product Manager

p.s. I want to send an extra thank you to those who have kindly sent me
copies of their MacApp-based applications, and allowed us to interview
you for success stories. Come to the Apple booth at Macworld Boston and
see the new OOP Successes Video Tape and demos of the MacApp-based
software.

And if I donUt have a copy of your software, and you have a copy you can
spare,
please send me one as soon as you can (even before Macworld?) and IUll
load it on the hard disk and show it off as another great example of the
use of MacApp.

p.p.s. Please post this survey to other e-mail networks where MacApp
developers hang out (MADA, CIS, GEnie, etc.).
