Allegedly, it's a three-board set built around the 68000 which extends the IBM PC XT to run "almost all IBM 370 software which runs under CMS." One board is the instruction decode and effective address computation unit, the next is a fixed point execution unit and the last is the floating point unit. Additionally, the memory is expended quite a bit. From my understanding, the cost is something like $6000 for the kit. You can also license the machine for any compiler or applications program that runs on a normal 370 for an extra $20/mo/unit. I think that the operating system (VMPC or something like that) costs another $1000. Another announcement is a BLIT-like terminal allowing you to have seven windows on one screen for a 32xx type of terminal. Not many details on this one.
