[comp.sys.mac.programmer] MacApp V2.0 & Think PASCAL 3.00

peter@hari.VIEWlogic.com (Peter Colby) (08/14/90)

Now that MacApp 2.0 is finally out, will the MacApp converter script in
Think PASCAL properly convert MacApp 2.0. The script SAYS that it is only
valid for MacApp 2.0B9. In the latest APDALog, only the MacApp 2.0 CD ROM
update actually states that 2.0 is identical to 2.0B9.
        Who do I believe??

Believe the script. The MacApp conversion package (disk 5 of the
THINK Pascal distribution) should *NOT* be used with any version of MacApp
other than 2.0b9; if it is, we cannot guarantee the results. In the MacApp
2.0 final distribution, there should be a sealed envelope which contains
a new Disk 5 which replaces the one in your THINK Pascal 3.0 package. Install
it instead, and use the conversion scripts, libraries, and projects provided
therein.
