[comp.sys.mac.programmer] menuID field in MenuRecord

Can the menuID field of a MenuRecord be use to store any ID I want (e.g. 
if I do a GetMenu(10), I want MenuID to be equal to 10) ?

Yes.  From IM I, page 344, "The menu ID can be the same number as the menu's
resource ID, though it doesn't have to be."
