I have received enough queries that it seems to be worth posting this. If I could have directed it to Northern California only, I would have. Invention Software is a company based out here in Michigan. They publish libraries of useful source code for the Mac and teach various courses on Mac programming. For those who are just learning to program the Mac (but already know how to program), Invention is going to be teaching their Intro to Mac Programming course out on the west coast (Palo Alto, I belive) sometime in the middle of September. It's a good, intensive 5-day course. I don't know what the cost is but there is some maximum on the number of students they will take. That's about all the info I have.
