I'm creating a program in MPW Pascal. When I recompile just part of the program and attempt to link it, the linker *sometimes* complains. It comes up with the good'ol faithfull Error 50 (Jumptable out of range.) (v3.1 actually tells you that it shouldn't be greater than 32K, but since we've all RTFM this is old news.;-) However, my program segments are not greater than 32K. If I recompile the WHOLE program and link it, no problem. Now don't turn around to tell me that a pre-compiled object should not make any difference, I know. Is this a _feature_ of MPW? BTW, I've lately put up my MPW Multi-Finder memory up from 2 to 4Mb (I've got 8Mb on an SE/30) and it doesn't happen anymore, but it would be nice to now where it came from. A couple of people have also suggested to do a FLUSH in the make before the Link, or re-boot my Mac. (Talk about a l o n g work around.) -o (short for On-no) ()/)/)() can be r e a c h e d at B_MURPHY@VAXA.UWA.OZ.AU ______________________________________________________________________ The net never sleeps, come to think of it, do I ever? ---> Thinking is dangerous and subversive and leads you astray. <---
