[comp.sys.mac.programmer] ? Looking for TIFF format documentation ?

astor@dev8j.mdcbbs.com (08/29/90)

I need to write a utility to do some minor editing of a bitmap
stored in a TIFF file. Can someone point me in a direction
where I can find TIFF file documentation? I've got access to
AppleLink and the developers CDs, but have no FTP access.

Please respond by email. Thanks.

TIFF file format is on applelink in the ALDUS folder. ALDUS has also
placed PD C code for reading and de-compressing TIFF images, and writing TIFF
images.

cheers, Mark

Actually the TIFF specification was done by Aldus and Microsoft. Aldus
seems to be the primary "Keeper of the TIFF".
