HELP!!!!! PROGRAMER NEEDED
I have a tape backup problem. Its seems that the people in my parents office
have done a very stupid thing. After the hard disk in their office failed they
tried to get the disk working again by doing a manual startup. Well they
managed to get the disk working again and decieded to try to make a tape backup
of it right away. In the middle the backup failed. They then decieded to try
again with a different tape. They to took the second back up tape for that
computer and tried to backup again but the same thing happend. Then my dad got
home from out of town and took disc express and put a string of zeros over the
entire hard disk.
What we have now is two tapes of the information on the disk, actually about
90%, but without a directory telling the drive where to find the information.
The only place my father had found that can help need $250 to look at the tape
and then big bucks to try to get the information off.
If anyone has any ideas, sugestions, or solutions a responce would be helpful.
