I have a program which generates a combination of Quickdraw and PostScript; it is a music program, and I allow people to copy from my program and paste into word processor files. The copy and paste works fine, and the combination of PostScript and Quickdraw works (it prints properly from the word processor both on Quickdraw only and on PostScript printers). The word processor I am using is Microsoft Word. The problem comes when I try to rescale the pasted picture in Word; it looks really bad after it has been scaled. I have seen programs where this works properly (for example, stuff pasted from MacdrawII seems to scale correctly). Can someone tell me how to make the scaling work properly?
