I am writing a program that creates graphics. Although I can use PrGeneral to get at the maximum resolution of the printer from within the program, the primary use from my program will be to export figures into a word processor. Here's the question: Is there anything I can do to get my pictures to print out at higher than 72 dpi from the word processor? Actually, I know how to include postscipt comments, but I would like my program to be able to produce quality output on the deskwriter, also. As far as that goes, even the imagewriter will let me output at 144 dpi from within the program. It seems a crying shame to only be able to export at 72 dpi. Any help greatly appreciated. --James Amundson amun@midway.uchicago.edu
