Probably an obvious question, but... Will there be documentation made available at some stage on the Sound Manager and Sound Input Manager in 6.0.6/6.0.7? If there's going to be a tech note, then fine, but it would be really wonderful if I didn't have to wait until December to get it... There's been a Microsoft Word document available for some time, describing the 6.0.2 Sound Manager--an update to this would be a nice alternative. On the Devloper's CD Volume V, there's an updated version of that document (the Word version of it is 589K). The TeachText file with it says: "This chapter covers the new Sound Manager as found in System Software 6.0.6 as well as that which is planned for System 7.0. Refer to Inside Macintosh, Volume VI for the complete and accurate description of the System 7.0 Sound Manager. The information given in this chapter is still preliminary for System 7.0."
