Ok, here's the situation. We have a MAC+ which we'd like
to use to display information for extended periods (actually
it's a map for satellite tracking). This program can be
run from a single floppy disk (using a "minimal" system
configuration). The machine is powered up in the morning,
down at night. No hard disk attached.
It's pointed thru a glass partition so that people can read
the screen thru the glass. As it's positioned this way, it's
very cumbersom to start up the program, since it requires
3 menu choices before it will start.
Question. Is there a way to get this machine to auto-start
this program on power-up with no human intervention (other
than perhaps inserting the disk). I can start the program,
of course, by using Set Startup. But I also need to do the
menu selections. Is there a way that I might be able to
get the program to autostart AND invoke, say, macro-maker
to make the menu selections? (I don't have access to the
program code to make changes there). I've tried a few
combinations on this, but can't seem to get everything working
simultaneously.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Please E-Mail me or
post here. THANKS!
