Yes, the appropriate newsgroup is net.games.video. I don't know whether you ARPA types can access it. It could stand some more activity!! If you want a serious video game system for little $$, that can also do a few other fun things (lite pen graphics, music, etc), get a Vectrex! It is entirely different in appearance and techonology from any home computer, tho it uses the king of 8-bit micros, the 6809. You won't believe how much nicely-built stuff is inside it for $99. (Don't pay more; shop around). Be usre to audition Web Wars, Hyperchase, and Spinball games for it. mike k
