Sorry if this question has been seen before, I haven't used rn in over a year! We are experiencing problems with a program developed here at Montreal University when running on a MacIIci. The program loads its set of colors in the form of a 'pltt' resource; on all machines so far this has been problem- free. But on a borrowed IIci, with a 2-page display and 4 gray scales (admittedly a non-recommendable setup for a color chemistry program, but this is no excuse), all colors show up as black, even the entry for white! I know the machine is fine, since our about box, which contains colors, appears in 4 shades of gray thru the good graces of the Dialog Manager. Is 32-bit Quickdraw causing the trouble? Do I need a different 'pltt'? Is there special documentation for 32-bit Quickdraw which we do not know of? If so, where could this documentation be found? Any help or wisdom on the subject would be greatly appreciated. If the answer is old news, please answer thru e-mail to spare the net, otherwise feel free to post...
