I'm attempting to install the SADE 1.2b1 prerelease from the E.T.O.#1 CD. It includes a Multifinder 6.1b9 that needs to be installed with it. When I attempt to boot up with that Multifinder in the system folder, I crash soon after the desktop pattern appears. Macsbug reports a Bus Error at _StripAddress+0E54. (Running a Mac IIfx, system 6.0.7). Can anyone help?

The problem was an apparently corrupt "AppleShare Prep" file. Booting
with the AppleShare init disabled (via "init-cdev") circumvented the
problem. Removing "AppleShare Prep" fixed the problem for good.
