I don't know too much about programming but I would like to use XCMD or XFCN with Think C. Those resources could be merge to a application build with Think C. According to Inside Mac the resource manager will load the resource but I don't know how to tell the application to run the code in the resource and also how I could pass parameters. Maybe this is impossible or simply a silly thing to. Don't be afraid to tell me that I am stupid to do that but I was only thinking that it could be fun to build program with building blocs like resources. What you want to do is kinda possible, the problem of passing the proper parameters of the program will be the biggest stumbling block for may applications. BUT there are some commerical programs that will allow you add XCMD and XFCN support to other programs. I do not know if they are your programs you can add them to, or if you can add them to anything. How it is done is not too difficult to do, a bit problematic to explain. I do not know if you are writing software, or want to get out of if somehow?
