I'm pretty new at programming C, and even newer at programming the Mac in C, so I was wondering if anyone could give me a few pointers (no pun intended). I've written a few programs without dialogs or menus or any of that "fancy" stuff (just ANSI printf and scanf). The only toolbox routines these programs use are MoveTo and LineTo (and a loop to check for a mouse click). What I'm wondering is, the programs seem very slow for a supposedly fast language. Am I doing something wrong? Should I program them differently? What? I'm using Think C 4.0. Thanks to anyone who can help! (P.S. Anyone wanna take a programmer under their wing? :-) Gary Arnold c60b-4av@web.berkeley.edu

If you are running your program under the Think C environment, it is possible
that you are seeing slowdown from the debugger. (or so I surmise).
