The title says it all. Please send me any sample code you might have
in think pascal! Of particular interest would be how to handle sending
a single carriage return to a modem. I am currently having problems with
this particular aspect of communications. For some reason the carriage return is not echoed so my readline routine doesn't stop. Upon careful tracing
using think pascal 3.0 I have discovered something very strange; aa null
character is being echoed (character 0) instead. Also I am using strings
and concating characters onto them. I then try to clear them by doing
someething like a:='' This seems to work ok, but eventually the length
byte of the string gets messed up. Help! Any ideas? Any suggestions on better ways to handle the strings??
Thanks in advance! Please respond directly and i will summarize!
