I have just bought a Macintosh si computer and can't get the Command-PowerKey combination to activate either the on-board debugger (is there one like on the Plus, SE, etc.) or my version of MacsBug. Nor will it break into the THINK C 4.02 source debugger. I do a lot of programming, and find the key invaluable to stop runaway programs and return to the THINK C editor. Often I run without the THINK source debugger, and only turn it on when I get errors. Unfortunately, if the computer locks up, I have to fully reset it without some debugging "exit-to-shell" functionality. Is there any way I can make the programmers key do an exit-to-shell (or enter a built-in debugger, etc.) without buying the new version of MacsBug which supposedly enables the command-power combination? BTW, installing the P-Key INIT didn't seem to make any difference. Please send mail, thanks in advance. Ian R.
