Over the years, reading newsgroups like this one, I have found that the best
way to get a huge response from readers is to write something they can argue
against.
Goal :- I want to know how operating systems (of the multitasking flavour)
other than Unix perform I/O - how they implement device drivers..
Bait :- Unix has the best form of device I/O.
Unix device drivers are faster than all other operating systems.
Unix device drivers are the easiest to program.
If it makes you feel better, you can pretend I really mean it... flame me !!.
