Hello everyone, I need to dispaly images very fast on a Mac II, to do some psychology experiments. I'm hoping for speeds <= 25 ms. How can I do this? I've tryed building offscreen pixmaps and then using copybits. This method is just too slow! I want to stay away from palette tricks, because often I will need to display five or more images. I heard that the graphics card on the Mac II actually has two video pages, and that you can switch between them very fast ( on the order of what I need). The problem is that I haven't been able to find any documentation on how to do this, or if it's even possible. I've called Apple with no results. Can somebody HELP ME PLEASE? Thanks very much -- alann -------------------------------------------------------- alann lopes: alopes@ucsd.edu -- internet Programmer/Analyst lopes@cogsci.ucsd.edu -- internet (619) 534-7417 ALOPES@UCSD -- bitnet ...!ucsd!alopes -- uucp --------------------------------------------------------
