[net.trivia] Monkees/Nesmith

<Is your journey REALLY necessary ?>

  It may be of interest to know that Mike Nesmith, whose various solo
albums are all worth listening to, got into the business of making videos
very early on, and has won several awards. He is almost certainly largely
responsible for the recognition of video as a worthwhile medium.
  However, the only reason he was able to do this was that he inherited a
large (millions, I believe) sum of money when his mother died (noone was
interested in financing such trivia). His mother was the person who
invented "Liquid Paper", and who won an enormous settlement involving both
damages and back-royalties (which, I believe, was a landmark case for
"inventor's rights").
  Doubtless any inaccuracies will be corrected by other net users !!

{ <-- Hey! Squirrly brackets! --> }

    Innacuracy #1: Michael's Mom is still alive, last I knew, which wasn't
	that long ago (after the release of Elephant Parts). I believe
	Michaels untold wealth is from Monkees royalties, not from mom.

				    did I spell innaccuracy right?
