I'm trying to write an application that displays a map in a window. The user can scroll around this map, click on various cells, drag things about, etc. What I'd like are some general pointers on the easiest way to do this. I could use the list manager, but I wonder about its performance/reliability/etc when confronted with a map composed of, say, 200x200 8x8 pixel elements. Any suggestions? Thanks! dank

Um, you probably won't want to know this, but I have found MacApp is very good at this sort of thing... Michael(TM) Hamel, Computing Services Centre, University of Otago, New Zealand TIDPIT (n.) The corner of a toenail from which satisfying little black deposits may be sprung.
