Got a question for the net - someone recently asked me how to implement selection by typing, in the style of the SFGetFile dialog. There doesn't seem to be any sort of LKey routine in the List Manager, so do you have to do everything yourself? I would imagine this would mean recording a key- click and the current ticks value, and then checking to see how much time has elapsed at the next keyclick to decide whether to append the next key to the search string or start over. Then it's up to you to actually find the selection in the string and hilite (select) it, right? Any ideas? Is there an easier way?
