[comp.sys.mac.programmer] TECalText bug summary, please?

francis@uchicago.edu (Francis Stracke) (02/09/91)

I know there was some discussion of a bug in TECalText a week or two
ago; I ignored it at the time, since I'd never used TextEdit much.
Now I'm trying to make a styled-text class from CEditText in the TCL
(LSP version), and getting crashes when the window gets updated; I
track it to TECalText in an inherited routine.

Could somebody please tell me what the upshot of the TECalText
discussion was? (Anybody run into this in TCL before, maybe? Is it
because of the fields different in a styled TERec?)

Thanks!

I posted this a little while ago; didn't get any answer; looked at it,
and noticed the following problem

   From: francis@uchicago.edu (Francis Stracke)

This is quite false. My address is francis@zaphod.uchicago.edu. My
regrets to anybody who wasted their time replying before. Could
somebody please send me the summary now?

Gonna have to get this worked out. :-(

I posted this a little while ago. Didn't get any answer. Then I
noticed this in the header:

   From: francis@uchicago.edu (Francis Stracke)

This is wrong. My address is francis@zaphod.uchicago.edu. I don't
know what the problem is; I'll try to fix it before posting again.
(This post being an exception, for reasons I'm not too clear on... :-)
My regrets to anybody who vainly tried to reply. Could somebody
please answer now?
