Dear Steve - SADE and SourceBug are very different beasties. SADE is a very powerful, programmable debugger with an incredibly complex user interface and very long learning curve. SourceBug on the other hand in a direct-manipulation debugger without any progamability. It really is an 80% solution, that will be all that many folks need, but we will still be maintaining SADE for those folks who need its power. Though you can imagine a day when the ease of use of SourceBug is merged with the power that the progamability of SADE offers. -- Jordan Mattson UUCP: jordan@apple.apple.com Apple Computer, Inc. Although I've used SADE to debug a number of mpw tools I've written, I'd hardly say that I've done more than scratch the surface of its capabilities. Whatever became of the tutorial-ish thingie that was supposedly nearing completion a while back? I was kind of hoping to see it before plunging more thoroughly into SADE... --Frank Malczewski (fdm@wlv.imsd.contel.com)
