Is there any general guidelines on how the user should draw poly shapes? MacDraw and SuperPaint for example mainly differs in three ways: 1. In MacDraw a new line of a poly isn't drawn before the mouse button is released. However, SuperPaint draws a new line directly. 2. In MacDraw it's possible to double click in order to stop the poly drawing even if the user clicked in two different positions. 3 In MacDraw it's possible to end the poly drawing by clicking close to the first point of the poly. In SuperPaint you have to double click no matter where you are and the clicks have to be in the same position. And even stranger, PowerDraw uses the mouse-button-up positions to create a poly for all but the first point. -- +---------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Lars Sundstrom, Lund University, Department of Applied Electronics, | | Box 118, S-221 00 Lund, Sweden Phone: +46-46121598 Fax:+46-46129948 | | Internet: sund@tde.lth.se | +---------------------------------------------------------------------+
