Hello everybody, I'm looking for some pointers, hints, suggestions, sample code, etc., on interacting with the serial port in c. The IM descriptions of the serial driver and how to interact with it are a little vague (for example, can I read the status of one particular signal, etc). Sample code would be the most helpful. I'm specifically interested in the modem port, but any help is welcome. I'm using Think C 4.0.2 with System 6.0.7. I'd rather not deal with the communications toolbox for the time being (until I start working with system 7.0). Please send email and I will summarize if there is interest. Thanks in advance.
