[comp.sys.mac.programmer] HELP! Think C problem...

dave@ironcity.gatech.edu (David K. Codelli) (02/23/91)

I have a subpane of my mainwindow that has a radio button in it,
defined in a resource. I have set it to visible and I send a
draw() message to it when my pane gets a draw(). I am also drawing
some other stuff in the pane when it gets a draw(). My problem is
that when I start up the application, it does all the drawing in
the pane except the control. The only time I can get it to draw
is if I move that part of the window off screen and then back on
the screen.

I have followed it through on the debugger, and for the case when
it is not drawing, it goes to CControl.c and calls some function
"draw1control()" or something like that, and then returns to
my draw (in the pane). I could not find "draw1control" anywhere.

Could someone please explain to me what the heck is going on?

Thanks in advance,

David
