[comp.sys.mac.programmer] Missing routines in Think C 4.0

gergely@cs.dal.ca (Peter J Gergely) (02/28/91)

Just recently we finally purchased Think C 4.0, installed it, and the
4.02 update. Proceeding to convert our programs we came across a
problem. The following routines POINT, LINE, GOTOXY, KBHIT,
ERASEPLOT, etc, are now missing. Tech Support pronounced them dead in
our conversation with them. The problem is that numerous of our
programs rely on these routines to do fundamental plotting to the
default console window supplied with Think C 3.0.

My question is simply this. Has anyone converted (or written) the
same routines for Think C 4.0. Is there any way to continue to use
4.0 and make use of some similar routine without the incredible
conversion cost of writing them ourselves.

Please reply directly to me, and I will be glad to post a summary
within the next little while.
