Has anyone had experience with the new Meridian Open Ada development system for the Mac? The literature claims that it comes bundled w/ MPW, has library and management facilities, implements the Mac toolbox fully, and is a fully validated Ada compiler ==> for $150.00. Before I invest (OK, $150 isn't much for what's in the deal) my $$$ and development efforts, I was hoping that someone could give me a 'first hand' description of the system => e.g. how good the toolbox interface is, compile/link speeds, MPW compat., etc. Also, I believe it allows for an interface to C. Since I use THINK C as my current development environment (by decree, not choice :>) I was hoping that it might contain an interface to it as well (I'm assuming that it interfaces to MPW C) Post replies here or to: Mary Rudis MM0F@LEHIGH.BITNET P.S. The comment "by decree, not choice" means that I don't like 'C' that much, but the THINK environment goes a long way in making 'C' usable.
