Again, I appologise for posting a largely network related question to the Mac programmers group, but in fact, it works better! My company, TERC, is about to add a UNIX system connected to the internet to our AppleTalk-with-an-ethernet-backbone network. There are two products that will allow us to receive internet mail with QuickMail (the mail system of choice), one of which, StarNine/Cayman's GatorMail Q, is very expensive, and the other of which Information Electronic's SMTP/QM is very new. I'm wondering if it isn't possible that somebody out there has already done a QuickMail add on that will talk to a POP server on our UNIX. Anybody heard of such a beast? Please reply by mail, I only read this list occasionally. Oh... btw, thanks to all those who help with the original problem: Ethernet/LocalTalk gateways. Blake Meike blakem@world.std.com
