From: Russ Smith <smith@nrl-aic> Today I bought a Hewlett Packard 9862A Calulator Plotter at a local community college warehouse sale for the grand total of $1.00 plus 5 cents tax. This is about a 12 x 12 inch pen plotter that can plug into a number of different things. Though pretty filthy when bought I cleaned it up, plugged it into the wall and it appears to work! That is, it will seek to a user set lower left or upper right hand corner with a push of a button or two. However, I have absolutely no information except for what is on an attached usage card which says that this plotter has a range of 0 -> 9999 in both X and Y and is to be used with the 9810A Calculator. I want to hook it to one or more parallel ports on a microcomputer. It has a fingered PC board which was apparently used to hook into the aforementioned Calculator. Would EVERYONE out there with any information at all on the pinout of this plotter please write me a note on your info/experience, etc. Any help I can get would be very much appreciated. Sources for schematics, pinouts, manuals, anything... Thanks in advance, Russ <Smith@nrl-aic>
