[comp.sys.mac.programmer] Help! VBL INIT in Think Pascal

I am trying to write an INIT in TP that waits for a certain click-key combo. 
In an old MacTutor, Nov. '89?, I found an article on how to do the VBL task for
MPW.  Having never used MPW before, I tried to convert the VBL monitoring. 
However, the INIT only beeps and fails to execute the algorithms.  Any advice
would be greatly appreciated.
